information & Frequently Asked Questions
The differences between SW Studio's wedding planning services
DOC (Day Of Coordination) can be understood that the team will be an extension of the couple for the event directions. With this option the couple completes most of the planning themselves and will give our team directions on what to do in terms of decoration, where we just need to show up on the wedding day.
Partial Service includes DOC, in addition to the referral of vendors; however the couple will need to contact them themselves. Simple design aspects are also included, where the couple provides Sara with a general mood board and she may provide suggestions. This service is perfect for a couple who wants to lead the wedding design, while our team will assist in completing it.
Full Planning is suitable for couples who want to be completely relaxed and hand free, letting Sara’s expertise guide you step by step. In addition to unlimited discussions, we will communicate with any vendors, maintain budget, and so on — essentially coordinating all event related matters. Sara will prepare all the options, and the couple simply needs to communicate with her and choose between options.
Which package is the most popular?
Partial Planning is the most popular package because it has a high cost-performance ratio. As the couple and planner cooperate to complete the wedding.
What is a wedding planner?
A wedding planner assists with various aspects of wedding preparation, from initial consultation to day-of coordination. They help you set a budget, select vendors, find a venue, design the overall theme, manage timelines, and handle logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly on the big day.
When should I hire a wedding planner?
It’s best to hire a wedding planner as early as possible in the planning process. Some couples hire them right after the engagement, while others bring them on board a few months before the wedding. The sooner you hire a planner, the more they can assist you with finding the right vendors and securing your preferred date.
Will the wedding planner handle vendor contracts and negotiations?
Yes and No. One of the essential roles of a wedding planner is to handle vendor contracts and negotiations. We will ensure all contracts are clear, fair, and protect your interests. However, vendors are also individual roles; where certain aspects are for vendors to decide themselves.
Why do you need a wedding planner?
- Expertise and Experience: Wedding planners have vast knowledge and experience about various aspects of a wedding — from venue selection, to vendor negotiation, to following a timeline, they understand the ins and outs of making a wedding successful.
- Saves Time: Planning a wedding can be a full-time job, and many couples simply don't have the time for it. A wedding planner can do a lot of the work, freeing you to make the fun decisions without having to worry about the logistics.
- Budget Management: They can assist with your budget, alert you of any additional costs you might overlook, or suggest ways to minimize cost.
- Stress Relief: The stress of planning a wedding can be overwhelming. A wedding planner can shoulder this burden for you, enabling you to enjoy your engagement period and the wedding day itself.
- Problem Solving: On the day of the wedding, there are always unexpected issues that come up. Having a wedding planner means there's a dedicated person ready to handle any last-minute problems, ensuring that the day runs smoothly.
- Coordinating Vendors: Wedding planners have relationships with a network of vendors, and can coordinate with them on your behalf, saving you from having to manage multiple contracts and communication streams.
- Creating Your Vision: A good wedding planner will work with you to understand your vision for the day, and will then work to make that vision a reality, creating a cohesive look and feel throughout.
Remember, not all wedding planners offer the same services, so it’s important to clarify what exactly they will and will not do; and how they charge for their services!

Ownership of Work Product by planner
This is the copyright of all designs, taken by SW Studio. The Studio is free to use any of the decorative images for marketing purposes on the Studio’s public channels, such as the website or social media. We will notify clients before we post their images and videos, however if the client prefers to restrict any use of all these images and video; there is an additional fee of 20% of the total cost that will be applied.
Date Changes, Cancellations & Refund Policy
Should the date of the event change, the event planner will make the best effort possible to accommodate the new date. The client understands that last-minute changes can affect the quality of the final event and that these changes are not necessarily the fault of the event planner.
In the event of a cancellation of the event, the client should notify the event planner no later than thirty days prior the planned date. Should the event be canceled after that deadline, the event planner may collect the full fee owed, including any applicable interest that may arise due to late payments.
If the wedding is cancelled and no longer requires wedding planning, the client has the right to request a refund. However, there are limitations regarding the refund policy. If the planning has just started and no activities have been initiated, a full refund may be given. If the vendor recommendation has been completed the money for the DOC will be refunded.
